Add Lists
On List Maker, it's easy to plan for your next Halloween, grocery trip, or anything else you have in mind with lists. Follow the steps below to get started.
- Tap “+ Add List” to start.
- Choose a list Artmoji or tap "No Artmoji".
- Then add items. If needed, tap the list title to edit it.
Add Headings & Colors
List Maker lets you easily organize your lists with colors and headers. First, scroll through the color palette. Once you find the colored chalk you like, tap it and start writing. To turn items into headers, tap the header button "H" and voilà!
Reorder Items & Lists
If you need to reorder items in your home to-do list, grocery list or any other lists, follow the steps bellow. (These steps also work to reorder lists)
- Press the item you wish to reorder.
- Drag it where you want it.
- Drop it.
Set Reminders
If you need to order dog food, call your mom, or take your medicine, add a reminder, and List Maker won't let you forget.
- Accessing reminders: If you are editing an item, tap the reminder button ⏰. Otherwise, swipe left on an item and tap the reminder button ⏰.
- Setting a reminder: You can either choose one of the four preset reminders or select a date and time.
- Editing or Stopping a reminder: To edit or stop a reminder, tap again the reminder button ⏰, then tap “Turn Off” or pick a different date and time.
Share Lists
When you want to collaborate on a list with your spouse, friends, or groups, send them an invite. Edits will appear instantly on everyone's phone. It's perfect to plan groceries, share gift ideas, or pray together.
- Tap the “👥 add” button
- Tap “Add Members” in the members list.
- Write the name of people you would like to send an invite to your list.
- Tap the send button “↑”
- Then make sure people you have added to your list tap the link sent via iMessage.
